What is the Guardian Home Program?
The Guardian Home Program is a program that is avaliable to families that live in Perth, Western Australia.
It allows for families to have one of our puppies, so that they can live in a loving home, as well as allowing us to expand our breeding program outside our own family dogs. The puppy will live with the foster family but remains the property of the breeder until the end of their breeding career.
Price of a Guardian Home puppy
The price of a puppy that is a part of the Guardian Home Program is waived, but expenses not related to breeding (vaccinations/titre tests, food, grooming, flea/tick prevention, training, pet insurance, medical emergencies etc.) are the sole responsiblity of the foster family.
Foster families that take in a female puppy are required to allow us have the female for 1-2 litters, in most cases it will only be one litter, however, in the event of a small litter (3 or less puppies), we may decide to breed her for a second and final litter.
If the female dog doesn't meet the TDR and ITR health requirements or has had 1-2 litters, she will be desexed at our expense and full ownership will pass to the foster family.
Foster families that take in a male puppy are expected to leave him intact until he is 3 years old.
If the male doesn't meet the TDR and ITR health requirements or is 3 years old, he will be desexed at our expense and full ownership will pass to the foster family.
